Reserve Occupational Troops

December 27, 1918 – Full diary entry:

“I am now in the 2nd Army and 9th Corps.

The 2nd Army is Reserve Occupational troops. Hope we do not have to go to Germany or Russia.

Reported to Lieut. S.”

The 35th had actually been assigned to the Second Army, IX Corps near the end of November.

“Lieut. S.,” I assume, is Lieutenant Silverstein, who gave Robert a job and a promotion previously.

Where was Robert today? See the timeline.
