“The sun is shining today and it is the first nice day we have had up here. Got two letters from Leut. Nielson.

I wonder why I do not hear from Mother.”

Now there are three mystery men who may or may not be the same person: “GRN,” who was mentioned in May and July; “Mr. Nielson,” who was mentioned in July; and now “Leut. Nielson.”
