February 22, 1918 – Full diary entry:
“Went downtown, met D.T. – had lunch at Tea Gardens. She is sore but I left her feeling O.K.
Nora + I went to Orpheum + lunch at Tea Gardens. Nora got car sickness.”
Other than mentioning her in a letter several months from now – and finally revealing her last name – this is the last time Robert has anything to say about Dorothy Thomas. I’d love to know more about her.
Not clear on today’s agenda – either he had lunch twice at the same restaurant, or he brought Nora with him to lunch with Dorothy. Really hope it wasn’t the latter.
