December 2, 1918 – Full diary entry:
“We should be home and out of the army by May 7th, my birthday.
Would like to spend a few weeks at the lake with Nora + my boy.”
Unrelated to today’s post, but I’ve updated an entry from two months ago. Apparently all I have to do is write “I wish I had the photo Robert took of his friends” and it magically appears in my family’s possession.
I’m also updating yesterday’s letter from Aunt Aggie with a very promising solution to the words I couldn’t identify, courtesy of Twitter user @McCookField.

Where was Robert today? See the timeline.
