June 3, 1918 – Full diary entry:

“Marched to Gamashes in A.M. Assigned to 4th Ptn. Drilled in P.M.

An entertainment in evening. Our camp is at Monchaux.”

This would have been good information to have back on May 13, when I was making an educated guess at where Robert was stationed. Still, it’s always nice to be proven right.
